Managing for the First Time
Making the transition from being one of the ‘team’ to managing the team is a difficult step for anyone.
A heavy emphasis is placed on achieving results through the team and examines the Manager’s role of managing rather than doing.
Modern management has 5 key areas and this course introduces delegates to the importance of communication, setting goals, managing time effectively, monitoring and motivating team performance.
Throughout the course delegates will have the opportunity to practise new skills and discuss specific issues they may bring to the course.
