What is Microsoft Office Specialist?
The Microsoft Office Specialist offers those individuals who use Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access and Outlook the ability to test and quantify their knowledge.
Examinations are available in each of the applications at Core Level. Word and Excel also offer qualification at Expert level.
The examinations are available in Office 2000, Office 2002(XP) and Office 2003. By attaining four examinations in the same Office suite - Word and Excel Expert together with Powerpoint and Outlook/Access, individuals also have the opportunity to attain a Master status.
Each examinations covers between 35 - 45 tasks and lasts for between 45-60 minutes.
The examinations are computer based and use real life scenarios so that delegates are tested on daily life activities.
